Playing spot the STOP!

We have a new game in Higham - its called 'spot the STOP'! Maybe not as varied as the wonderful 'nursery rhymes' yarn bomb treasure hunt last year, or the recent teddy bears picnic decorations, but just as satisfying! We're sprouting posters!! See how many you can spot!

After another fantastic community meeting yesterday evening, today is an admin day preparing for the appeal hearing next week - the current owners are appealing the latest planning application refusal and we are, of course, 'interested parties'!

The church was bustling with people from the village - residents who have been here for decades and those who have just moved in, all united with the aim of getting the pub open again for the community. Look out for videos and photos on our social channels, and the new YouTube channel where were are sharing memories of the pub and community events.

Maybe this time next year we will be able to host our own teddy bears picnic and kids holiday fun, having successfully reopened the pub with the help of our amazing supporters. Here's hoping!
